Fences for solar systems
3D virtual model
A solar fence is a new-generation engineering solution that works as a classic fence and a solar power plant at the same time. It not only encloses your plot but also generates electricity efficiently.
Key advantages
A worthwhile alternative to ordinary fences ‐ at today's solar module prices the system often costs less than a standard fence.
Dual function
enclosure and electricity generation.
Space saving
the vertical orientation of the modules needs no extra ground, so it suits narrow or irregular plots perfectly.
Bifacial generation
bifacial photovoltaic modules are used, generating energy from both sides.
Sound insulation from the road
it reflects sound waves and noticeably lowers the noise level.
Simple installation and maintenance
the modular structure requires no special skills.
High efficiency in winter
because they stand vertically, the modules do not get covered in snow, and light reflected off the snow increases irradiance and improves output.
Our manufactured structures are suitable for solar modules with the following sizes:
Optimal orientation
The recommended orientation is East‐West. Although total annual generation is 22‐25% lower (compared with classic south-facing systems, based on 2024 German statistics), the production peak falls in the morning and evening hours, when electricity prices are highest.
This is especially important when using the Net-Billing system, where settlements are made not in kilowatt-hours, but in monetary terms for each hour. Such an orientation ultimately ensures up to 30% higher financial efficiency.
Frequently asked questions about the solar fence
Tables are a classic ground-mounted structure at a 36° angle, built for maximum annual generation. A solar fence is a vertical structure with bifacial modules: it encloses the plot and produces electricity, with generation peaking in the morning and evening.
Yes. We sell single sets too ‐ to companies and private customers alike. Standard configurations are always in stock.
Annual generation is 22-25% lower than for south-facing systems, but the production peak falls in the morning and evening, when electricity prices are highest. Under Net-Billing settlement this delivers up to 30% better financial performance.
Bifacial modules are used. The suitable module sizes are given in the drawings on this page.
